| Lilah is a 7 month old tortie/calico mix . Her previous home surrendered her because of a severely broken leg. Unfortunately the vet determined that the leg could not be saved and her right front limb needed to be amputated. But Lilah is young and should have no problem compensating by building additional strength in her remaining legs. | |
| She also tested positive for FIV, which is a disease that affects her immune system. FIV is often confused with HIV, but FIV is a disease only affecting cats and can not be transmitted to humans, dogs or other animals. With a healthy diet and a vigilant owner who keeps up with dental care (an infected tooth is an easy path to illness for all cats) and does not neglect sneezes or other signs of illness, an FIV infected kitty can live a nearly normal life span. | ![]() |

Lilah just needs someone to love her who does not care that she is not 'perfect'. Having one leg removed hasn't slowed her down a bit. This sweet and beautiful "tripod" kitten promises that she can love you even more than those other kittens with their "extra" leg! |
If you think you can be that Special Someone to welcome Lilah into your heart, please fill out an online application and we will arrange a visit so you can see what a truly special kitty she is.
